What are microservices?
The future of code.
Technically, "loosely coupled, bounded context elements of a service-oriented architecture".
We like to think of them as independent features, or back-end logic components used by applications - but your FrontEnd too could be a microservice. They should be as easy to combine as lego bricks!
There are many definition flavors - one of our favorites can be found here.

Who is it for?
Everyone. From hobbyists to indie gaming teams to tech startups to planet-grade Enterprise looking to adopting microservices.

How much does it cost?
Short answer: it's free for now. Yep - can't believe it ourselves.
Head over to our Pricing page for more details.
What are KintoBlocks?
Our proposed standard format for containerized microservices. Imagine it as a light wrapper around your favorite code.
You build features in KintoBlocks, then combine & deploy them in applications directly on KintoHub.
What Frameworks or SDK are needed to get started?
Grab the language & protocol you prefer and start coding.
Comply with simple commenting guidelines for auto documentation and you're good :)
Which Languages & protocols are supported?
Out of the box languages:
C# / Node.js / Python / Ruby / Java…. for now - more to come.

What can your tools handle?
More specifically, it means we cater to:
Tagging and versioning
Language & protocol translation (yes!)
Dependendency Management (triple yes!)
...and much more to come soon.
Where are my applications hosted?
For now, on Google Cloud's Taiwan cluster. But our infrastructure is already cloud-agnostic and we will add other regions & providers in the near future - stay tuned.
What privacy and security do you offer?
Only you and the members of your workspaces get edit access to your kintoblocks and applications.
We have the ability to view your projects and logs to help improve the platform - but we will never modify them.
If you are interested in more advanced security features or an on-premise solution, reach out to us.
