Currently for pay-as-you-go users, there seems to be no way to get information on the current usage/billing.
Would be good to have the following features:
- Real time billing/usage
- ability to set alerts when billing crosses a threshold
- Add different emails to receive receipt e.g. [email protected]

Thanks for this suggestion! We're planning to work on this in the next couple weeks actually.
We would not be aiming for "realtime" though as it's a bit too hardcore. But it would be updated every 15 minutes.

@Joseph Cooper: even just daily will be good enough.
what would be nice also will be a summary of the instances, what their specs are, and the estimated cost per month. this will let us have a "proxy" of what the cost this month will be.

Gotcha - We'll aim for daily. We probably will not share spec information off the bat, but can consider quicklinks to open up the service and see.
But showing an estimate cost for the end of the month will take some time. Thresholds + Usage + Finance (billing email) will be our main prio. I'll breakdown the comments into separate requests after we release the billing dashboard.
